Getting around
Website that helps plan your travel in the city; tells you what train, metros and buses to take:
Netto boat rides, worth doing if you haven't done it before:
Below is a map of the metro and train lines.

The closest stop to the venue is the number 26 bus or the 18. Also the 6A.
Here is a bus, s tog and metro guide:
The M1 and M2 lines (green and yellow) are the metro. All other lines are for the S tog (which is just the local train) |

Where to Stay?
There are a lot of options for places to stay it just depends on your budget and whether you want to stay in a hotel or appt. I recommend that you book soon as there is a big Science conference during the same weekend as our wedding so places are filling up.
We are getting married and having the bash in the district of Frederiksberg which is still Copenhagen and is only a 10/15 minute walk to the city center. Patrick and I live in Osterbro this is another part of the city and is about a 20 minute walk into town.
AirBnB is great if there is a group of you that want to get a place together and a lot of the appts are right in the city. Don't forget if you don't want to share the appt with a stranger then check your search parameters to say "entire appt/home".

Copenhagen can be a pricey city to stay in. There are some lovely expensive hotels as well as the more budget style which can also be fine.

If you find somewhere where you are thinking of staying but want to know what it is like or where it is in relation to everything then just give us a shout so we can help.
Most of my family and family friends will be staying in: http://www.adina.dk/adina-apartment-hotel-copenhagen/home It's near to where Patrick and I live and is also close to town; the little mermaid and the Royal Palace and Nyhavn etc. If you are looking for a bit of luxury it is a nice place to stay.
Here are a couple less expensive ones that don't come up on hotels.com or the other search sites. They are very close to the venue in Frederiksberg where we are getting married and where the party is:

http://www.allegade10.dk/index.php/minihotel it is in Danish but just google translate and you can figure it out.
These two links are the same but the facebook page has more pictures. This place has shared bathrooms between 2 rooms but if you where with friends you would only be sharing with them.
The dan hostel is in the city centre. It's a hostel so on the cheaper side but it's a pretty good standard.

Links to Airlines
Click here to go to momondo; a flight search engine which I often use. Gives an overview of which airlines fly and links you to their website.
Click here for SAS website This is the Scandinavian Airlines website in English. They fly from London and Manchester to Copenhagen and flights are reasonable if you book in advance and you don't have to pay for luggage.
Easy jet fly from Manchester and London airports, also Bristol and Edinburgh.
Click here for Aerlingus website. They fly direct to Copenhagen from Dublin.
Norwegian Air fly from Liverpool to Copenhagen direct and also from Dublin direct to Copenhagen. Days are limited, they don't fly everyday.
